From the very start of her career, Viviane Cangeloni was a patient and strict observer of the body and the face of her models. Their plain reality was seen and rendered through a very personal approach, based on the artists creative movements, themselves the result of her expressive interiority. At the end of the Nineties, Viviane Cangelonis vision evolved and she began to apprehend the human being via the existential issues that so deeply affect her in her private quest. Life and death, the basic emotions, desire, femininity, the myths which are the threads of our memories, the connections with nature and the cosmos: all these major matters became fertile sources of perception, while the representation of the original human model slightly receded. Examples of these two poles of inspiration can be enjoyed, in magnificent bright colours, on this site.
